MYDREAMSTYLE.COM looks best at a monitor resolution setting of 1024 x 768 pixels.
To enhance your shopping experience, set your monitor to display millions of colors. Although you will get best results from our site when your monitor is set at millions of colors, all images, except photographs, are optimized at 256 colors. We try our best to display the colors of our products as accurately as possible. However, as each monitor display colors differently, there might be a slight difference between the colors display with the real merchandise colors. Please email with any questions about merchandise colors.
It is also a good idea to make sure your display font is set to a small-sized font when viewing our site.
Plug-Ins
A few plug-ins, Web browser helper applications, will enhance your shopping experience at MYDREAMSTYLE.COM. To view our television advertisements, experience multimedia effects, view downloaded order forms and take advantage of other features, you need to download and install the following plug-ins:
Installing A Plug-In Or Application
When downloading the software, be sure to write down where on your computer you're saving it. Once it has downloaded completely, locate it on your hard drive and follow the included installation instructions.
If you can't find what you've downloaded:
For Macintosh users:
Under "File", select "Find..."
Type in the name of the file and click "Find"
Once the file is found, double click on it and follow the installer instructions
For PC users:
Under "Start", go to "Find"
Select "Files or Folders"
Type in the name of the file and click "Find Now"
Once the file is found, double click on it and follow the installer instructions
Connection Speed
For optimum speed, it is best to access our site with a 28.8kps modem or better. Our pages are designed to transfer as quickly as possible over such a connection.
Sound
For PC users:
Please note that some PCs do not come with speakers or a sound card. Unfortunately, those users will not be able to hear audio files. If you have speakers, please make sure they are turned on. If you still can't get sound to work, follow these steps:
Under "Start", go to "Settings"
Go to "Control Panel"
Then go to "Sounds & Multimedia"
Select " Sound Volume"
If the volume is set too low, drag the button to the right
Make sure the "Mute" box is NOT checked
Click "OK"

For Macintosh users running Operating System 7.5 or greater:
Under the Apple menu, go to "Control Panels" (under Operating System X: go to "System Preferences"
Select "Sound"
If the volume is set too low, click on the button and drag it up
Click "OK"

Shopping Bag Disappears
If your shopping bag has disappeared, you may have disabled the "cookie" on your browser, or you may be using a browser that does not support "cookies." A cookie is a small identification file that is stored on your computer. MYDREAMSTYLE.COM shopping bag information with the cookie, so we recommend that you turn on or use a cookie-enabled browser while shopping at MYDREAMSTYLE.COM.
Enlarging Text Size
Our website was designed for optimum appearance on a variety of monitors. If you would like to enlarge the text, however, just follow the instructions given for your browser. To find out what version your browser is, click here .
For Netscape Navigator 4.5:
Under "Edit", select "Preferences"
Select "Fonts" under "Appearance" in the left-hand menu
Choose a larger number from the drop-down menus in both of the size boxes to the right; we recommend using size 12
Below the size boxes, make sure "Use document-specified fonts, including Dynamic Fonts" is selected
Click "OK"
For Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0:
Under "View", go to "Text size"
Select "Larger" or "Largest"
For Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0:
Under "View", select "Internet Options"
Click the "General" tab
Select "Fonts"
In the new window, go to the "Font Size" drop-down menu and select either "Larger" or "Largest"
Click "OK"
Click "OK" in the main window
Enabling JavaScript
We're sorry, but you'll need to enable JavaScript in your browser to shop our site. See below for easy-to-follow instructions.
You cannot shop the MYDREAMSTYLE.COM site unless your Web browser supports JavaScript. If your firewall does not allow JavaScript from the Web in general, you will need to ask your network administrator to enable JavaScript for the MYDREAMSTYLE.COM site.
How to enable JavaScript in your web browser
If you are using Internet Explorer 6.x, 5.x or 4.x (Windows):

- Click Internet Options ..., to open the Internet Options dialog box
- Click the Security tab
- Click the Internet symbol (a globe)
- Click the Custom Level ... button, to open the Security Settings dialog box
- In the Settings list, scroll down to Scripting
- Under Active Scripting, click Enable, so that a dot appears next to it
- (If you are unsure about the other Security Settings, please check with your Network Administrator)
- Click OK to close the Security Settings dialog box
- Click Yes in the Warning! message box
- Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box
If you are using Netscape 6.x:
- Click Edit, then click Preferences
- Click on Advanced.
- Check Enable JavaScript for Navigator.
- Click the OK button.
If you are using Netscape 4.x:
- Click Edit, then click Preferences
- Click on Advanced.
- Check Enable JavaScript.
- Click the OK button.
